Quilt Design Code is for you if you have a passion for design and quilting, and are ready to take your hobby to the next level and start growing a creative business.
You will discover how to come up with unique design ideas, go deep on your design work and write unique quilt patterns.
You will get all the steps you need to write + publish a quilt pattern.
You will have the next steps laid out for marketing and launching your quilt pattern.
All content is housed in a dedicated Course Portal along with any other material from the course (handouts, exercises, and other resources).
Any LIVE sessions (bonuses and Q+A sessions) will be recorded and the replays available within one day of the Live session.
I will be delivering the course content using Adobe Illustrator and Indesign, which are industry standard software.

Adobe offers a free 7 day trial which I would advise you to start once we get to that part in the course. You can try it out and see what you think before making any additional purchase.

All LIVE content will be recorded so anyone unable to attend the live sessions will be able to watch the replays. This includes the LIVE Q&A sessions.
I get this question a lot, and I am here to assure you that you DO NOT have to be an expert quilter to design + write quilt patterns.
Sure, knowing some quilting terminology and basic techniques helps, but you don’t need to be a quilting expert.
Here’s why: (I’ll let you in on a secret…) Quilting can be as simple as cutting up fabric and sewing it together again.
If you can sew a basic seam, you can make a quilt top.
If completing the whole quilt is overwhelming to you, you can outsource this part of the process.
You could even just create a digital mockup of the quilt top.
Inside Quilt Design Code you will be part of a community of people with various creative backgrounds, including quilters who, along with myself, will be able to help you get started on your quilting journey.
There is between 1.5 to 2 hours of video content for each module + 1hr LIVE Q+A call each week.
You will need some time to implement as well – at a minimum 1-2 hours depending on your proficiency with the software.
So, a minimum of about 5hrs commitment a week.
NOTE: There is also an implementation week included in the schedule, so you have time to take action on what you are learning in Quilt Design Code.
You also have lifetime access to the course material after the ‘live’ component of the program is over, so you will be able to revisit the material as often as you want to after the course finishes.
